A vast change in tone from my last post. The title for this is taken from the Norwegian TV drama Skam, as the story is inspired by a dream I had about some characters from the show. The names and everything else are my own. This has been in my head for a while since I had the dream a couple weeks ago, and I felt like I needed to get it out. I put a trigger warning in the tags because it is a bit dark.
So I have this alter-ego. My friends know of her. Her name is Andromeda Pennyworth. She's the richest woman in the world. And this is her story.
This is an idea I came up with last night, kind of on the fly. I'm sure my inspiration came from something I saw or read once, but it's a short little piece about the Greek Olympian gods in a modern setting, what I think they would be doing if they were to be real people in a real city. I like how this one turned out and I'm kinda proud of it at the moment.

I went back and edited a few things just for fun, and I figured I'd share this.
It's been a month since I posted anything, so for the sake of consistency I'm posting another excerpt from a longer project I'm working on called Across A Thousand Oceans, about two princes from neighboring kingdoms. I am also working on another short story I hope to have finished and posted soon.
The prologue to a novel I'm working on called The Killers' Club, a thriller about a young high school graduate and her group of friends who decide to murder their friend's rapist. I'm really excited about this one.
The final project for my Creative Writing class this semester was to edit one of the other stories we'd written over the course of the class, and I chose The Skin Stealer. I added more to it and gave it a new title, and this is the final version. I like how it turned out.
I absolutely for the life of me cannot figure out how to end Shattered Glass. It's coming along very slowly, but I'm stuck on the ending and little nuances and details, and I can't figure out how to move forward. I'm actually open to suggestions at this point if anyone wants to collaborate and co-write... Continue Reading →
